CSUNPOEWR 2GW Solar Module Production facility Broke Ground in Oct,2020

Oct 10th, Tianchang, Anhui province, The China leading PV module manufacturer and solar solution provider, CSUNPOWER announced its invested 2GW new solar module facility broke ground. The local government main leaders together with all the major leaders from CSUNPOWER and investors presented in the opening ceremony.

The total investment of the new facility will surpass 1billion RMB and planned with 2GW large size high efficiency solar module production line and 3GW smart energy storage production as well. The new production line will be equipped with AI identity, non-deductive cutting technology, high density capsulation. It is compatible to produce 210MM,182MM and 166MM MBB solar modules. The largest module size can reach 2700MMX1500MM. It can dramatically increase production efficiency and reduce production cost to meet the demand of solar energy green parity.

The factory will be constructed with two phases in the total area 70,000m2. When it completely constructed, it can create more than RMB 3billion revenue and contribute RMB15million taxes for local government. Phase 1 is estimated to be put into production in Q2 2021.
